Muzhen Zhang
Muzhen works with rpk GROUP clients from data collection and analysis through storytelling to move institutions toward more sustainable business models. She specializes in optimizing both academic portfolios and instructional efficiencies. Internally, Muzhen plays a key role in the development of new tools, in addition to driving database management across rpk initiatives.
Prior to joining rpk GROUP, Muzhen was a Senior Analyst at UCLA’s Student Affairs Information & Research Office, where she led large-scale survey initiatives, departmental strategic planning and assessment, as well as visualization efforts. She previously worked with other universities in staff and consulting capacities to provide research and data analytics support. Muzhen brings to rpk a valuable mix of experience in enrollment analytics, data management, and visualization.
Muzhen holds an M.S. in Higher Education Administration & Policy from Northwestern University and a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology, with a minor in Health Communications, from Case Western Reserve University.
Outside of work, Muzhen can be found walking her dog on beaches in L.A., attending group fitness classes, and getting creative with her Lego set collections.
